Veteran’s Army

Veteran’s Army helps former service people who are suffering from PTSD and have fallen into addiction, homelessness or unemployment. By offering therapy, training courses, rehabilitation and assistance with homelessness, the charity is also able to help individuals secure post-service employment. 

Nifty partnered with Veterans Army in spring 2021 and immediately set about raising the profile of this amazing cause and promoting the benefits for the veteran community. The first job was to build a website that was easy to digest and give a clear understanding of the support available. The website was incredibly well-received by the network of the charity founder. 

Following the website launch, Nifty then supported the charity with its donation strategy. In order to kick start the fundraising the Veteran’s Army team took on the ultimate challenge – lifting 62.5 tonnes each, the equivalent of a Challenger 2 Battle Tank. The veteran community loved the challenge and so did the North West, so much so the charity smashed its target by a huge 61%.  

These funds meant that Veteran’s Army had the foundations to start changing the lives of so many and we now look forward to working with them throughout 2022 and beyond, in what is an exciting time for this worthwhile cause.
