Nifty HQ is always a hub of ideas and creativity, with the team collaborating together to come up with industry leading campaigns while utilising our exclusive approach to marketing, the Niftyverse.
Our appetite for achieving the very best results for our clients largely comes down to the fantastic work-life balance we enjoy here at Nifty.
Happiness always plays a factor in the success of any group and with it being national #worklifeweek we asked some of our team what it means to work at Nifty.
Teamwork
We’re all aware that as individuals we may be good, but as a team we are great. We each have our specific roles and recognise each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and this allows us to get the best out of each other.
Our PR Manager, Sam, explains the power of a strong team;
“It’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of Team Nifty and I count myself lucky to be able to come into work every day and collaborate with such fantastic marketeers. I think a big key to our success as an agency is the support we show one another, always using each other’s strengths to provide the best possible service to our clients.
“We’re also a tight-knit group who are more friends than colleagues, and I think that shines through within our work. The sound of laughter has become synonymous with Nifty HQ and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Wellbeing
The moment you walk into our cosmopolitan office in central Worcester, there is a distinct buzz in the air. Creating a positive atmosphere is important as it directly impacts upon our quality of work as explained by our Marketing Manager, Amy:
“’I love Mondays’ never left my mouth until I started working at Nifty. How many jobs can you say that about?
“We have weekly catchups to ensure our workload is manageable, to check if we need anything, and most-importantly to make sure our wellbeing is in check. There is nothing better than feeling like a valued member of the team.”
Work-life balance
A healthy mind and a healthy body go hand in hand and Nifty encourages fitness and nutritious eating in order to achieve a well-oiled machine, both personally and professionally. Our Commercial Manager, Adam, explains the power of promoting a happy equilibrium.
“Having a good work-life balance is very important and it’s something that Nifty is passionate about. For me personally it’s important to balance work, family life and health, having two small children it’s good to be able to disconnect from the online world while spending quality time with the kids.
“Health, wellness, and self-care also play a big part in the company culture, and this shows with fruit bowls and healthy snacks being provided by the company as well as gym memberships for all the employees. “
We’d love to know how you feel about your work-life balance in our poll on LinkedIn.
